Aussie Metaverse Start-up iHunt4 Selected for Start-UPS Top 50 of the World's Best Retail Technology for 2022

One Australian entrepreneur working overtime this Christmas is Simon Church, CEO of iHunt4, which has just been selected among the top 50 retail startups by the US National Retail Federation.

iHunt4, a super reverse startup based on the age-old treasure hunt concept, gives players the opportunity to compete and win prizes from retail partners as well as earn crypto through Coins in-game (IGC), listed on several exchanges.

Being selected in the Top 50 Startups means iHunt4 gets exclusive area visibility as one of the best retail tech startups in the industry at sales conferences and exhibitions. NRF's upcoming retail in New York on January 16-18, 2022.

Church said this opportunity will give iHunt4 access to some of the most sought-after global retail and venture capital opportunities.

Mr Church said: “Being selected as one of the top startups to watch at retail's biggest event, is a huge step forward for iHunt4 and reaffirms all the work we are doing for Up to this point.

“Cryptocurrencies have been around for a while but it's only really in the last twelve to eighteen months that we've seen more and more everyday people buying crypto for the first time and likewise we Expect interest in the metaverse to increase exponentially.

“This represents a huge opportunity for retailers to get their brands in front of consumers in a fun and edgy way while also giving players the opportunity to earn crypto and own real estate .”

While many wonder what the metaverse is, iHunt4 is now center stage for connecting augmented reality with the real world of retail.

After building connections in the US, the iHunt4 team is working alongside major US cities and business trade groups on large-scale city implementations of business recovery planning after covid.

“We will be meeting with many city groups and chambers of business as we roll out the program across the states next year,” Mr. Church said.

“The US represents a much larger market than at home, so we are focused on growing big there with plans to scale up and secure global partnerships in Australia, Europe and Asia in the coming years.”

Government interest in cryptocurrency and the metaverse is growing and iHunt4 has attracted the attention of the Treasurer of New South Wales and the local member for Hornsby, where Mr Church is based.
